A Scottsdale hotel's restroom use refusal and altercation leads to an intoxicated Ricky Seals-Jones' assault and disorderly conduct charges.

Cardinals tight end Ricky Seals-Jones was arrested over the weekend on three charges Saturday night, involving a scuffle that resulted when he was denied entrance to the W Hotel to use a restroom, according to Scottsdale police.

The July 14 Scottsdale arrest included assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespassing charges.
When hotel employees told him only guests were allowed inside at the time, Seals-Jones allegedly attempted to use the bathroom inside Sushi Roku, a restaurant inside the hotel but was again denied entry.

An employee told police that Seals-Jones then became combative and allegedly pushed him. The employee said, "one hand shoved him in the shoulder area."

Seals-Jones told police that he had to go to the bathroom badly so he attempted to walk past the staff, but was taken to the ground when hotel staff pushed him.

The report said Seals-Jones appeared to be intoxicated at the time of the arrest.

According to surveillance video from the hotel detailed in the report, the hotel employees and Seals-Jones were seen "rapidly" coming out of the sushi restaurant's entrance and falling over benches. All parties walked away toward the valet area of the hotel's entrance and then another struggle ensued, with Seals-Jones ending up on the ground.

The Cardinals said in a statement to ABC 15 that the team is aware of the incident but would not comment further due to the ongoing legal process.

The news of the arrest came the same day as Arizona Cardinals General Manager Steve Keim pleaded guilty to extreme DUI in connection to a July 4 arrest.

Keim was also suspended for five weeks and fined $200,000 following the guilty plea.

The team said the money will be donated to the Arizona chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Drivin
